Exhibition featuring Darlys Vandevoort and Michelle Daisley Moffitt

Michelle Daisley Moffitt is an award-winning abstract mixed media painter based in Omaha, Nebraska. Known for her vibrant paintings, Moffitt’s work explores themes of home, longing, love, beauty, and nature through a symbolic and internal narrative. She creates pieces that reveal energy and joy, driven by her love of color, pattern, and texture.

Darlys Vandevoort: “The objective of my work is to make the viewer happy, with a sense of freedom, curiosity and wonderment. I enjoy painting what I know, kids, animals, nature, colors, and experiences. My work is intimate because of that knowledge. The strong colors, textures, and subject matter, give a sense of atmosphere and fun. I work mainly with acrylic paints but also enjoy oils, pastels, mixed media, and collage. Another goal in my work, is to, “tickle the eye”, by periodically incorporating actual puzzle pieces into the painting. I always say, “If you’re not having fun, you’d better get a different brush!”
